Vintage Silver and Baroque Pearl Necklace

This is a striking vintage-style necklace composed of 34 large, near-round freshwater pearls, each measuring approximately 12mm in diameter. The pearls exhibit a rich black body colour with multicoloured overtones, including flashes of peacock green, aubergine, and bronze, which catch the light beautifully. Their surfaces show some natural texture and irregularities typical of freshwater pearls of this size, adding character and uniqueness to the piece. The strand is approximately 44cm in length (princess length), making it versatile for both formal and casual wear. The pearls are securely knotted between each bead, a traditional technique that prevents loss in case of string breakage and helps preserve the pearls’ surfaces. Completing the design is a substantial 15mm silver clasp, crafted in a circular Signoretti spring-ring style, both practical and complementary to the bold pearls.
